Hi guys,

A quick question I hope you could help me with.
I have been making my own liquid for approx 1 and a haf months as this is my first time I bought some concentrates from vampire vapes.
I mix the nicotine and flavour around 15-20% (all pg based) then add VG so my juice sits around the 70-80% vg mark.

Each liquid I try has a thin wet feeling to it instead of that nice thick feeling you get from shop bought juices.
Any Idea what I need to do? I will list where I bought each item below in case you can see I bought some cheap nasty stuff that I should avoid in later mixes.

Nicotine - 72mg from Piratesvape
VG - Piratesvape
Flavours (Heisenburg, Bat juice, Blackcurrant, pinkman & strawberry milkshake) - Vampire Vapes
I use plastic bottles but have experienced the same thin wet feeling from glass bottles too

As a bonus if anyone has used Vamp vapes concentrates and successfully made some strawberry milkshake could you tell me some percentages as mine tastes really nasty (initially and after a long steep)

Your help will keep me on this DIY trip and save me quite a lot of pennies :)
Cheers

is it aqua v.g your using even if it is your mix should be thicker at those percentages also shake well
boots v.g is very thick £1.39 200ml

If you're in no rush order from lubrisolve. They had an eBay store but also now sell from their website. I always use them for both PG & VG. Never had any issues whatsoever.

it is this exact one

not AVG I read about that and would only thin it if I needed to.

You raise a good point though I might go to boots later and pick up some VG and give that a shot at that price I dont think it will hurt to try.
darrant chemicals do 2.5 litre vg £4.60 shipping is £6 per order so its worth ordering other chemicals you may use around the house/garage they also do pg and nicotine the prices have to be looked at they have been around for a long time
[ my order took 11 days ]

Hey Dave, how does it taste? If it tastes a bit like chemicals you can breathe the juice. This normally calms down harshness of a juice but can also reduce flavour if you overdo it. I'd recommend a 12hour breathe. Simply leave the cap off in a place that isn't doing to get dust or debris in the bottle :)

Also, how long has it been steeping for?

Its been steeping for arond 3 weeks, I gave it an overnight breath in the first week.
The strawberry juice itself doesnt taste too bad but I get a terrible throat hit like a burning chemical.
Tried different wattages/Air to no avail.

Wonder if its linked to the issues I have with the other juices

Got some Boots Glycerin (VG) today,
Probably make up 2 batches of something tomorrow and see if there is and improvement/difference between them.

Keep us informed - good to know peoples experiences.
How much nic are you using and what strength are you after?

I usually like around 0.4% for my rda or 0.6% for a sub tank.
this batch will be nic free until I can pin down what's wrong.

I always have my fall back adv heisenburg concentrate which I think you can mix however you like and still comes out strong n kicking.
