This is going to sound stupid but...

I've been vaping now for just over a week with an Aspire PockeX. I've currently got 'Black Ice' 6mg liquid in the chamber, but am finding it very harsh on my throat and want to swap it out for another flavour. Can someone please let me know what I need to do in order to get the new flavour in? Do I need to rinse anything out? Sorry for sounding such an idiot....

If you don't want to change the coil, just empty it out and refill with a different flavour. There will be a mix between the flavours due to old juice in the coil cotton, but the new flavor should come to the fore before too long.

there is never a stupid question when it comes to vape so never be afraid to ask.

ive not used that kit or coils but it could be 2 things.
was the juice harsh when you started vaping it and then got more of a throat hit as the week went by.
if yes it could be the coil burning out.
or 6mg might be a bit strong in that kit especially if its a direct to lung hit. mouth to lung coils are more suited to higher nic juice.
hopefully others can advise.

As @MrDJ said, if you've vaped that juice in the set up you have and it then started to taste harsh or not so nice, you may have burnt the coil out and will need to replace the coil. Maybe start at a low wattage and increase until you find what's right for you.
Otherwise you may just not like that particular juice.

Can I really burn a coil out in a week???!!!! I only use it about 4 times a day taking three to four puffs at a time!!!

As black ice contains menthol, it is very difficult to get rid of all traces unless you thoroughly wash out the tank and replace the coil.

Agree @Tootlevape , will be difficult to mask the flavour straight away, would take a tank full to clear it so wash and change coil would be better. Still not sure tho if the harshness is being caused by knackered coil or not

Welcome. There are no daft questions. Only answers. The above people have pretty much covered it. I used a pockex for a while. The coils I found did burn out quite quickly. It also found that the coil struggled when the tank was below say a third full. So maybe try keeping it topped up. The juice may be quite harsh as it stands. Due to Pg/vg ratio, nic level for you, various ingredients including the menthol which can give a kick to the throat depending on strength.
