Perhaps not quite yet but this sounds promising for the future of battery power.

All we need now is for someone to come up with a solar panel array that's 10 times as efficient so we can have secure electricity supplies to charge them.

hogwash, they promised nanowire batteries with 10x more capacity per volume to be for sale by 2012 around 5 years ago... well that didn't happen.. As far as i'm concerned, as long as i cant buy it, it doesn't exist.
