My patriot rda came today and the air holes in comes with are like 1mm, way to tight of a draw for me, the smallest drill bit I have is 3.3mm would those holes be way to big? When I use my aero tank I have it wide open

I would go with 1.5mm to 2mm.

3.3 each side would need a seriously sub ohm build...

Ok man thank you, Im sure I have 1.5mm and 2mm drill bits at work I'll check tomorrow I'll try with 1.5 first if no good then go 2mm :)

+1 dont dive in feet first with the 3.3 mm i overdrilled a patriot before i started sub ohming .was useless ..but its gets some use now i`m coiling @ 0.5/0.6

During my time here@ POTV, I've seen a few posts about drilling oversized holes to aid the shit airflow and it rarely ends in joy unless you're going to start coiling with 6 inch nails. It also irks me that so many devices are manufactured with woodworm sized holes, so nowadays I only buy devices with cyclops/slots for airflow. Even then, I'm still having to drill larger holes in my latest RDA :(

Thought I'd ask before I drilled would hate to not be able to use it by over drilling, the lowest i go ohm wise is 0.8/0.9 but that's rare normally aim for 1ohm+ not been building for long and don't fancy blowing myself up (just yet :p)

2mm holes in a patriot is perfect

better to buy a set of small bits for a few quid if your getting into modding the airflows on attys , 1/1.5/2/2.5/3/3.5 are your main air hole bits you should keep for different builds , i just did a build with big 5mm holes but there feeding a 0.21ohm dual coil setup for cloud blowing , for general vaping 2mm is about perfect with higher ohm coils imo

I have got a set but there at work, I know they start from 1mm but as I said left them at work so will make sure I bring them home tomorrow :)
