Hello All,

I came across this forum, as I am looking for an urgent solution to my Trinity Alpha pod issue.

My device is charging just fine & last had an issue of sending out a brunt vape taste.

I charged my pod couple of days back, which was fine & it is blinking instead of firing up.

I also tried changing the coils but nothing seems to be working.

Could anyone please help me here?

The only thing I can think of if you've changed the coil is that juice has leaked into the battery and the mod is broken. A google throws up loads of issues with leaking for that device and a few suggested fixes.

I just searched for Trinity Alpha blinking and got a load of results from Reddit and other forums.

"Short circuit protection: if a load short circuit is detected, the white LED light will flash 4 times and the battery will automatically shut down the output. ... Low voltage protection: when battery capacity is lower than 3.3V, the LED light will flash 15 times and the battery will automatically shut down the output".

Is it a white light blinking 4 times?

Hey, not sure if it's 4 or 5 times, but the white light is what blinks

OK, so then it's definitely shorting and not because it's unable to hold its charge. It's not unheard of to get more than one dud coil in a pack. First and foremost I would suggest trying another coil or two. I've had 3 dud coils in a pack of 5 before. If the problem persists with other coils after giving the contacts on the mod a clean then it could well be a little bit of juice that's leaked into the mod. Unfortunately, it only takes a single drop of eliquid sat in the wrong spot internally to wreak havoc. If it still fails after trying another coil or two and contact cleaning then, personally, I'd probably see if I could open the battery section up very carefully. I don't have that pod so I don't know if you can easily open it up. IF you can get it open then I'd either give it a squirt with some electrical switch cleaner or I would use a wetted cotton bud tip and gently give it a wipe over the inside paying attention to any contact points.

I'd definitely start with trying another coil or two first tho. Multiple duds in a single packet really is a thing unfortunately.

Not tried this device but I've had similar issues on the aegis boost when the actual pod wasn't sitting tight and the catch loosening over time, probably not it but try pushing down firmly on the pod and firing to see if it's still blinking.

*Evolution Vaping have the Chrome Prism version in stock for £8 if you want to replace it, sometimes see it around that price on other UK stores too.
