Can't turn my Aspire NX30 up or down. Any ideas?

so this is just a guess but try pressing both up/down buttons together to see if it unlocks.
will try and search manual

scrap that as that rotates screen.

click fire button 5 times fast within 2 seconds to lock/unlock

I have an NX30. Let's assume there isn't a fault until we have checked all the options.

It has three modes - Wattage, Voltage and Bypass, selected by pressing and holding Fire and + at the same time. There is a little square in the display that shows either a W, a V or a B depending on what mode you are in.

If you are in Bypass mode (B), then the mod displays the voltage and you cannot adjust that.
If you are in either Wattage (W) or Voltage (V) modes, the + and - buttons turn it up or down...

... unless ...

....You have locked the adjustment. There is a little padlock icon above the box that shows W, V or B and it will either show the padlock as locked or unlocked.

If it is locked then you need to press and hold Fire and - at the same time to unlock it.
