Been pushing my tubes to one side in favour of parallel or series boxes, I just cant seem to lock down a decent warm build they all ways come out cooler and underwhelming. So I need some ideas or recommendations for some builds to try out

Thanks!!

Edit: Preferably dual coil had a couple single coil builds that were all right but prefer dual coil builds

You tried using Nichrome or 316 stainless steel for your mech builds?
Dual 0.4mm Nichrome, 6/7 wraps with 2.5mm id goes well for me.
Or a cheeky 0.4mm Nichrome cored fused Clapton.

Keep in mind that a single tube isna going to wallop the same as certainly a series box. If memory serves you can build really low ohm builds on a parallel which isna really recommended for a single battery tube. So, your experience isn't going to be the same.

90% of the time i use nichrome unless im trying to get the resistance higher then ill you kanthal.

Stole @mattvapes1976 tube build which seems to be working a treat, 28g aliens paralleled to with 26g

My go to builds for mechs, please use good batteries and Vape sensibly (have to say that really). 21awg NiFlat from flatwire, 5 wraps over 3mm ID Dualled. Or my current favourite, 20awg Anarchist wire, 6 wraps 3.5mm ID Dualled and comes in around 0.10 ohms and is very flavourful. The key also, good cotton that is heat resistant and keeps up, Fuzion cotton, you get a tonne and it's a good product. I Vape mechs and RDAS all day every day. [emoji108]

Every time ive tried yo go back to marco coils they just seem meh, they just lacking something compared to aliens or staggered staples

I tend to go for 5 wraps 26awg kanthal claptoned with 34awg nichrome and paralleled with 4 wraps 28awg kanthal on a 2.5mm screwdriver.

Comes out about 0.25ohm and gives a nice vape without too much ramp-up.

Will try that and see how it works out

I either build 2.5mm 26g parallel dual coil ni80 7 wraps which is around 0.18 ohms or 2.5mm 26/35g fused claptons dual coil ni80 6 wraps at about 0.15 ohms if I'm using VTC5s. Depending on the RDA that's a nice warm vape with plenty of flavour and they heat up pretty fast. And most importantly, they are both piss easy to build yourself.

That build on a Tsunami is down right toasty, but on something like the Phenotype-L it's a lot cooler, so your choice of RDA makes a huge difference.
