Types of coil

Yes is the short answer.

But, it depends on what coils you get. Low Ohm coils will need more power and might not give you the vape you're looking for if they need high power. Also depends on whether your RDA is single or dual coil as a dual coil setup will halve the resistance so if you get 0.2 coils they'll come out at 0.1 if you use 2 and may not fire in your device.

I personally like fused claptons in Ni80 as they work in wattage mode and you don't need higher watts to get a good bit of cloud.

Can i use kanthal pre made coils in my rda, with a coolfire 1v 100watt.
Yes is the short answer. Here comes the slightly longer answer:

If your max power is 100W and you're using a single coil, then you probably won't want anything below about 0.18 Ohm. If you're using a twin coil build then you'll likely want .35 or more each.

Also worth bearing in mind that device will only give you 100W when it's full or nearly full charged. As its voltage drops it will automatically cut the power to prevent over-amping, so if you build low for high power, performance may drop off sooner than you expected.

Ok thankyou, well i usually vape at around 70-80 watts with 0.3 coils (subtank) so really i want to achieve similar with the rda but obviously more flavour.

You can. And if you provide more info about your setup the nice people here will be able to advise on the best ones to use. :)

Yep, she'll handle that no problem. Opinions and passions vary as to what type of coil will give you the best flavour at your preferred resistance/power. For me, experimenting is half the fun so dive in there and try stuff out. Simple single strand kanthals, flats, twists, claptons... knock yourself out. :D
