UD COOL KIT

I never intended to get one of these but had some credit and a discount code an threw it in my basket to get over the free postage mark so it stands me at less than a tenner. I took it along to the Manc meet still unused to show @Tubbyengineer as he`s into gadgets and has probably every tool know to man except a quality 1mm hex key (if anybody knows where I can get a QUALITY one I would appreciate it..) Also @daz_app liked it and @3dj liked the bottle opener.

The Cool Tool comes in its own heavy duty pouch with velcro fastening and belt loop.. It contains the following 15 tools in total..

• Cutter Pliers
• Ceramic Tip Tweezers
• Phillips Screwdriver A
• Medium Flat Bladed Screwdriver+Bottle Opener
• Large Flat Bladed screwdriver+Wood/Metal File
• Knife
• Scissors
• Small flat Bladed Screwdriver+φ2.0 Coiling Pole+φ2.5 Coiling Pole
• Allen Key
• Phillips Screwdriver B+φ3.0 Coiling Pole+φ3.5 Coiling Pole

Now if your out and about its odds on the Allen key wont be the right size or the Phillips will be too small, but it does have all the other tools to keep you interested.. As Steve said its really handy when your at a meet or out and about to have one multi tool rather than walking round like a beardy with your breast pocket full of screwdrivers etc (Yes @Rob @butlerd Jeeves would have a heart attack)..
Its not the smallest tool in the box and you might look a bit excited if you carried it in your front trouser pocket.
Its pretty well made , looks and feels like it will stand the test of time.Not quite Leatherman quality but not far behind..They also come in red which I dont do.
The cheapest Ive seen it for is a few pence over £18 and up to £24... Is it worth it?
Well @Tubbyengineer said he is getting one but hes got everything apart from a pair of speedo`s...
I wouldnt say you cant live without it but I will say that at some point in time it will be a godsend..

1.5mm is the smallest, but that's twisted messes/attie size.

Well its a long story buddy and its all the fault of that Steve @Tubbyengineer ...
For the VCMT and Aromaniser I wanted a quality hex key screwdriver thingy and was informed by said engineer that Wera is the best...
There was another so called engineer present but he was shitfaced...can you guess who?
I showed steve the VCMT and he said its a 1mm hex and he sent me a link to a place and I bought 2x 0.9mm wera hex keys....WHICH dont fit... So he said it maybe a 1.3mm you need but I aint risking buying another 2 fecking Wera thingy`s unless I know they fit..Its the screwdriver type one I like..Not them L shaped things... Anyway I dont have anything to measure the things with and I gave up.. But if you want a 0.9 thingy ive got 2 of the fuckers here..

wera are decent I use them, 1.3 or I.5 dont have the vcmt anymore so cant check

Halfords. My hex keys, and most of my wrenches, drivers and shit are halfords. Their own brand stuff is very often Britool rebranded so it's good gear at a good price. I use Halfords hex keys on my attys but they're the L shaped.
