So yesterday I received my first mod. I've got the Vamo V2 and currently using vivi novas. Since I got it I've been using it in the mini mode (1x18350 battery)

I wanted to test the full mode and I stacked 2x18350 batteries and put the voltage on 3.5 which has been giving me a good vape with a resistance of 2ohm on the mini mode. But I just tried it in the full mide with the same voltage setting and it tastes burnt. What am I doing wrong?

Moved, like a ninja...like a ninja one hour late for a bus...blame the snow

Regarding your issue, try it at different watt settings, as to the volts burning at same volt setting in 18650 mode, me no nothing, yet. *ponders*

Edit: Try it with a single 18650 batt in full mode if you get the chance, I do not often hear good things about stacking batteries.

I hope the problem isn't down to "stacking of the batteries"... I mean why would they put that as an option if I doesn't work properly.
I bought 4x18350 batteries (no 18650) because I thought that stacking them wouldn't be a problem. Oh well..

Also, give it a go in the RMS + Wattage settings. We found that VV is more likely to burn than VW

Yeah, apparently RMS(02) is the far more reliable setting than AVG(01) for a more consistent vape.

VW is the bees knees, instead of your atty being tortured by volts, the vw detects the ohms of your device, compensates accordingly, and gently massages it into whatever level of respectable frenzy you feel comforted by. Which are words scientifically backed up by my brain and the crap that it talks, but thats what I think, at any rate.

Stacking batteries isnt really a good idea. The batteries need to be in the same condition & have the same amount of charge. If 1 is flat & the other is charged, the charged 1 will be trying to charge the flat 1, & the vamo wont get any lectrickery.

Thats for anything, not just this device & this type of battery.
