vamo inner thread gone

my thread on my vamo has gone so wont take my protank, outer threads ok as im using evods on it at mo. is there anything i can do to get my protank back on maybe an adapter of some kind ? or is it a new mod ? think its the v2 so top doesnt screw off. dilema.................

I think you can get top caps (they're a press fit) for about six quid. Soldering required though.

You can use a 510-510 adapter/extender.

It doesn't look very pretty but it does work.

Shame about the $16.95 postage - this is the only ego-ego adapter I've seen. I have one vamo in pieces needing resoldering after my attempt at replacing the top cap fell apart and one vamo relegated to using evods because there is no 510 thread left. The replacement top caps are a loose fit in my V2 chromed brass vamos.

My Vamo stripped its 510 connector so I set about fixing it by use of the bottom off a clearomizer and extending the centre pin of the Vamo. Took me about 3 hours to get it back to usable condition and looks pretty crap but it works.
