Sigh....
I must have my fingers chopped off to stop me breaking gear!
Reason I say this is,was in the kitchen earlier poking about the top of my Vamo for suitable ways to cover the entire thing in a substance that won't turn the tube into a fecking freshly used dildo the instant a drip of e-liquid gets on it when I spotted a few drops of juice & tried to polish them away with a towel.Rather than do the usual "man thing" and grab the teatowel as it was closest,I chose to use the dog's towel(old and very worn)Big mistake! The towel has lots of tears,one of which flicked the greasy Vamo out my hands and in trying to catch it before it hit the floor,all I actually succeeded in doing was increasing its rate of descent such that it slammed off the side of the stone water-bowl for the dog.
I quickly scooped it up,and a quick look over it revealed no obvious damage so I collected the parts of my genesis atty up & re-attached it to the Vamo.It still works,phew.
An hour or so later,I suddenly find my battery has died but there's nothing showing on the OLED screen about "low V" and even with a fresh battery in...still no display.Yet it still turns on/operates as before just nothing on the screen.I then have a huge fight to remove the top cap & carefully extract the PCB where I discover that the contact with the water-bowl has bashed the plastic cover on the screen causing the LCD screen of the OLED to crack.Grrrrrr!!
I do a search via Google for just the PCB from a V5,phew stealthvape has them,click on the Google link to go there....Page is gone.
Back to Google...phew,there's another PCB,click on it,USA shop & will only ship to US/Canada.
Alibaba has them(China)and most seemed to require a minimum order of x number of units(least those that actually show a picture of the PCB rather than all the sodding versions from V2-V5 but full built units)
So,anyone got a knackered Vamo that they don't require so I can extract the screen to replace mine?
I will refund the postage/buy the screen+postage.Your choice.
