This WILL need an upgraded spring. The one thats in it is flimsy and a POS. Because of that, when using smaller batteries (AW IMR vs Senybor or EFEST) it WILL shut off because of the wiggle room.
Its wrapped and under it is stainless steel, it's a bit scuffed up and just ratty in general. It's served my OH well, but he only uses his SVD now anyways!
