The Pulse V2 comes in a nice solid box with removeable sleeve on the front is a pic of your device in your chosen colour on the back is the contents some info about vandy vape and the main features of the mod scratch and scan code Authentitication is on the side with a scan and follow code for Instagram.
The mod is held securely in a foam tray as is the 18650 battery adapter,underneath is the Type-C charging cable, Instruction Manual, extra squonk bottle, a small hook tool for removing the squonk bottle, user manual etc
Available in a choice of 6 colours G10 Obsidian Black, Rainbow Resin, Flame Red Resin, Black Carbon Fibre, Silver Carbon Fibre and Sky Blue Resin which is the one i was sent.

Leakproof squonk system and bottom fill bottle keeping it directly in line with 510
The pulse V2 has a wattage of 5 -95 watts, its a nice lightweight compact very responsive mod, that is compatible with 18650 20700 and 21700 batteries, which all fit snugly in place, one of the first things i noticed was the squonk bottle is completely separated and sealed off from the battery and chipset a great move from vandy vape for making it a leakproof system, as we all know squonking can get messy and leaked juice can end up killing off your mod, With a nylon body and with rounded edges its comfortable to hold in the hand , it has 2 removeable resin panels making it easy to access and remove the squonk bottle and battery , battery polarity is quite cleary marked on the inside rear edge of the mod - faces up + faces down. The panels fit securley with no rattle and are held in place with a couple of magnets.
Minimal branding on the device you have PULSE II nicely engraved on the front edge near the squonk bottle and on the rear edge is VANDY VAPE in large lettering, there is more but it is hidden with the resin panels. On the front panel is the fire button, colour screen with new chipset , which is uncluttered clear and easy to read with all the relevant information displayed, battery life ,watts, resistance, volts, a puff counter with 6 digits so in theory you can display 999999 puffs, and a puff timer, below the screen the wattage up and down buttons and Type-C USB port.
Up top is the 510 plate which will take up to a 25mm atty with no overhang.
Button combinations are as follows the buttons feel clicky and responsive with no wiggle or rattle.
5 clicks of the fire button to power the device on and off
3 clicks to enter the mode settings and fire to confirm
4 clicks adjusts settings in your current mode
To enter the main menu +/- together
+ / fire to lock the mod
- / fire flips the screen
+/- and fire turns the screen on/off
The mod has voltage mode, bypass mode, and temperature control modes, all of which work really bloody well.
You can pick what you have in your quick options menu by simply holding +/- and then fire to select and again +/- to either turn them on or off.
A couple of nice features are
FIR enabling this changes the locking function to lock adjustments only, or everything including firing.
ARR reads the Ohms of the coil and sets your wattage for you.
Filling the squonk bottle is simple and mess free but done from underneath as it is a bottom fill device, you will see what looks like a battery latch door similar to some Aegis mods, (a tiny magnet keeps the loop in nicely in place).
Simply unscrew and you have access to the squonk bottle for either filling or removal, the little hook tool comes in handy here for getting the bottle out by hooking it over the top of the bottle and tugging down gently. The pre-installed squonk bottle is a pretty dark but they do supply you with a clear one if you want to swap it over so you can see your juice a bit better, the bottle itself is spongy and firm so you dont need to apply much pressure to squonk just a light press to rejuice is all thats needed, not had any over squonking issues whatsoever it seems to deliver the right amount of juice every single time and sucks the excess back into the bottle perfectly, the transfer rod for the juice is directly inline with the 510 and almost touches the bottom of the squonk bottle it sucks out virtually every last drop of eliquid, Vandy Vape have nailed this mod completley.
You have the option to use this with the Vandy App which is available for both Android and the iphone so you would have to download the app and create an account if you wanted to use it. i installed it to see if it works i was quite suprised at how well it works, but found it easier to just adjust the settings on the mod
Connecting to the mod is easy. Turn your Bluetooth on and tap the + icon in the upper righthand corner. Then select your device and you should see your device appear.Click on it and you’re connected.
There are 3 parts to the app
The first one being Find my device with this you can turn on the Anti-Loss function which will alert you if you leave your mod behind somewhere by beeping at you its loud enough to hear if you are close and length of time beeping can be adjusted.
The next part is update here you can update the firmware via your phone, you can also change the UI but at present there is nothing to update or change.
The final part is Control here you can change the wattage, temperature / coil material, and lastly voltage via a sliding bar. You can also set your pre heat options by tapping the Set the Flavour option. Below that you can customize your wattage curve by dragging the sliding bar.
