Probably a stupid question, but struggling to get a smooth vape from the vape shell. Always very spitty and crackly. Could some of you fine people let me know what builds your running including what size air insert you are using. Thanks people.

What wire are you using and what power settings do you use?
I use Vapeshell for MTL low wattage. Have 1.2mm reducer and just use a simple kanthal build at 1.1 OHm. Run it at 16 watts with no issues.

Keep it simple on the coils nothing fancy just a wee kanthal microcoil not too low ohms

I use 2.5mm ID coil using 27g Kanthal. This is fine for the wattages and style of vape I prefer. You could easily get a 3mm ID coil in there though and use 26g kanthal and go higher with the power.

I'm sure i have 28 awg ss 316 2.5 mm I.D. at 0.28 ohms and running it at 34 w DTL with no air restrictor , so wide open. Cheers

I'm using Clapton coils 3mm d around . 3-.5 smooth vape but do get leaking no matter what I do behind boro
