After discussions with other 'active' CAM-VIP members, we have decided to put a cover charge on the physical copies at Vapefest of £2 (plus optional donations if you wish). There are 2 reasons for this;

The first reason is that we do not want people to take the 'freebie', quickly glance at it then bin it. They cost a lot of money to print and we would like them to be passed around and shared with smokers/vapers/publicans etc.. I don't want to spend the whole of Sunday morning picking up dog-eared copies from the streets and guest houses of Tamworth - it would be soul destroying after all the hard work that has been put in.

The second reason is that we want to print off more copies to get them into 'vape friendly' pubs FoC - to the target audience and we need money to do that.

I hope you will all support us in this if you are attending Vapefest

I think there is a risk it will be seen as a souvenir and not used for its intended purpose tbh. I'm not going to VF but I'd hope purchasers of the mag use it as intended for their local. The image in my head of dog eared copies in bins is too sad for words!
