Just wondering if we have other Vaping Chemists out there. If so, do you use lab equipment to help your habit? :p I've heard sonication can help steep times. Any experience?

Also in general, what are the views on microwave steeping?

Microwaves are to be avoided if possible,it destroys the nicotine.

I had to look up sonication & decided it's just blasting your e-liquids with sound, much easier to simply shake the bottles or if you must use a powered device to stir it,£5 on ebay gets you a milk frother.

Personally I prefer to put mine in a cool dark place and let the process happen naturally rather than forcing it. Now that I've perfected my VC recipe to my taste I have two main juices. I always have 200ml of each at any one time. When I get down to the last 100ml bottle I mix another. That then has the length of time it takes to use the first 100ml, generally 3 to4 weeks. And I've been keeping that rotation going for the past 2 years.

Obviously new recipes like my VC will take a few weeks to to catch up to that cycle but once it does, the steeping process occurs naturally.

Edit just to say, the added bonus is I've never run out of juice.
