hi all,

i had a problem undoing the base of my VECO tank, while trying to get the "EUC sleeve lower" off (see link) i used pliers with tissue paper so not to scratch it but i didnt grip it tight enough and just span round

https://www.vaporesso.com/vape-atomizers-vape-tanks-veco-vape-tank

in the end i rinsed the whole tank in hot water, left it over night to dry and i could undo the base to get to the coil and put a new EUC coil in

im wondering now have i damaged my "EUC sleeve lower" as with the pliers, it looks fine but im scared now that a bit of metal on the sleeve while vaping may come off and i may inhale it

should i get a new veco tank?

thanks,
rob

Can not you use one of these tweezers to help you remove the coil's sleeve @robert wild?

If the “EUC sleeve lower” looks ok, I think you will be fine. You’d be able to tell if a bit of metal was hanging off by inspecting it. Also it doesn’t look as though the EUC sleeve lower is directly in the air path anyway. If a bit fell off it, it would probably just float about inside the tank.
