Started making my own juice and I have come across vegetable glycol. Question is. Is it safe to use the glycol instead of the glycerine? 100% vegetable glycol is cheaper than the glycerine. Haven't found any info about vaping vegetable glycol. Any insight or advice appreciated.

Is it from the same supplier? I always thought they were the same thing.

Bananas. I read up on the difference and it wasn't very clear. And there's nothing I could find online on using glycerol as base in e juice. Wouldn't use it till find out more about it. They are the same but chemically different

Could be wrong but I believe glycerol and glycerine are the same, former being pure, the latter being commercial grade (c.95% pure).
I also believe glycol is very different and would be toxic - perhaps someone has written glycol instead of glycerol?

Source please for this vegetable glycol?

I wouldn't worry yourself, PG and VG are cheap enough from the likes of Lubrisolve and Darkstar and we know that they are intended for use in e juice.

Mannikon. Haha. I did mean glycerol..... Don't know why I put glycol.
Glycerol and glycerine are similar but not if it ok to use as base.

Thank goodness for that! Edit the thread title to Glycerol please. Glycerol and Glycerine are the same. It's unlikely you can actually buy Glycerol because that is laboratory purity, nothing commercially sold is ever that purity.
Someone obviously is selling standard VG and calling it Glycerol instead of Glycerine.
