Hey again,
Was wondering if the following would be a viable strategy...
Let's say I mix 3/4 ingredients to make a custard flavour until im happy that the custard tastes the way I think custard should taste.
I do the same thing and make a couple of different jam flavours.
Once I have these 'base flavours' I could then use these at will to make a variety of different final flavours. Thereby having a final recipe that has 2 ingredients.
So instead of having a final recipe of potentially 12 different ingredients I have a recipe of 2 ingredients using my 'bases'.
So 70% jam base and 30% custard base instead of
X% Bavarian cream
X% capella custard
X% condensed milk
X% strawberry ripe
X% strawberry
X% super sweet
So on and so forth...
Viable strategy?
