Virgin vaper mid Wales

Hi all, I'm totally new to vaping and looking forward to getting some great info from you guys.

My route into this is probably not a traditional one - not trying to get off the ciggies but have been experimenting with nicotine in various forms for the last thirty years or so. Got heavily into pipe smoking, loved the flavours - particularly latakia (hence the nick) but really hated the next-day pub mouth syndrome that heavy pipe smoking brings. Had a dalliance with nasal snuff - still have some faves but never found the nick hit good enough. Really got born-again on Swedish snus, which I still enjoy, although it is difficult to buy in the UK and I confess to some worries about the chew aspect for oral health, even though the nitrosomines in the Swedish stuff are very low. (Would cetainly not entertain US/Asian chew for obvious reasons).
So now a move to vaping. Just wondering how the flavour/hit compares with these other methods. I just bought a basic pen vaper from Sparks with some USA tobacco eliquid.
Any advice as to flavours/techniques/mods etc would be most appreciated.

Nice to meet you

I am still fairly new, but if it is flavour and hit you are looking for I would imagine you will be looking to upgrade your equipment before long. Both get more intense as you move from the novice equipment to the advanced

Aloha man, some of the flavours can be intense and if you want the nic hit then 36mg is the way to go but with pipe smoking being a liking of yours i would suggest a 50/50 PG/VG mix to get the bigger vape cloud (the higher the VG the thicker the cloud), if its a basic setup (plastic tank) i would probably avoid citrus based liquids as they can crack the plastic. Thanks for feedback. Yep, have already started upgrading the equipment to get some monster vapes going. Just purchased a spinner batt and a surpass atomiser, now looking for some really nice latakia inspired mixes to fill up with.
