Hi my names ken I’ve been using this type of 510 battery for quite a few years now different brands and this one I really like it seems to be working well I just have two questions. when I first plugged it into charge, being dead from first purchasing it, it only took about an hour before it said it was fully charged when the instructions said that a full charge could take 5 to 6 hours my second question is when I’m hitting the pen which does hit well, if I hold the button for longer than six seconds it flashes three times and the light turns off, but does not fully turn off the battery, if you press the button immediately again it works and hits fine again, is that some kind of temperature safety shut off? any information would be greatly appreciated! ALSO iv still yet to see this “0-30%” orange light yet but the pen has already needed to be charged?

Working time protection – when battery is on, in case of pressing the button non-stop for more than eight seconds, the button flashes five times and shut down the output instantly.

batteries are normally semi charged on arival so may take only an hour the first time. once drained a full charge can take anything from 3-5 hours depending on the size mah of battery and the charger cable you are using ie usb or mains charge.
as said abouve its a cutoff protection. if you had it in your pocket and the button got pressed and it continuously kept firing it would sooner or later vent and go kaboom.

Thank you just wanted to be sure. Do you happen to kno an avg amount it needs to be charged? Maybe I’m just losing track of time but I feel like I remember almost never ha being to charge these a few years back?

The 1600mAh battery should last you all day, maybe a bit more but is dependant on how much you vape.
