Vision spinner question

Ok I got the Vision spinner yesterday and have a question regarding the charging of it, I put it on charge earlier and the led button light was lit whilst charging,the charger light was red (USB Charger) I took it off charge to have a look at something then put it back on charge, this time the LED button light flashed at me several times then went off, the charger light remained red.

My question is why would the light come on the first time and not the second, How do I know it is defiantly charging?

Ok after doing some reading all seems ok and it seems to work on a two stage charge. The light stays on when the battery is low, then it will flash about 8 times then go out, and after another 30 mins or so the charger light should change to green.
