ok so i have been using my viva nova with my spinner for a few weeks now but i have been noticing this foul taste coming from my drip tip and burning my lips so when i took my tip off i have leakage of liquid just above the atomizer i have tried 3 different attoz but i cant seem to stop the leakage getting into my tip any advice

thanks

I had exactly the same thing on my old VN but it wasn't as bad as yours!
My drip tip was loose, and as a result it would trap some vapour between it's walls which would then condense. After a chain vaping session, I could actually take the drip tip off and there'd be a pool of liquid underneath.
So, first thing - Is it a tight fit?
If so, is the rubber bung thingy (No idea of it's actual name) sat firmly on the top of the post? Same applies to the metal thingy.

thanks for the reply...

i would say no its not.. if i pick the vape up by the drip tip the weight of it pulls the tip out and like you said theres a pool underneath and i have to mop it up other wise when i put it back into my pouch it goes up the tip and then when i inhale i get a mouth full off 18mg! ( from the pool in the bottom of the tip)

Are you using the drip tip that came with it ? i get this slightly with mine if its been laying down horizontal, even with new rubbers it does it unless its kept upright !

Hmm, Is it a genuine Vision Vivi Nova or a copy?
Had two copies which were doing the leaking, then switched to a genuine yesterday and so far all is good!
Might be worth putting some plumbing tape around the bottom of the drip tip though?

The drip tip that comes with the VN has a small lip inside it that most other drip tips don't have.

Also, are you using different version coil heads from the actual VN?

Not all the different version coil heads are compatible and will leave a gap between the centre shaft and the screw top.

The spinner and viva are both genuine and the attys came with the viva but the drip tip did not its a stainless steel on that I bought it has a black rubber ring at the bottom of it but I might add that the original plastic tip also did it.

Like the other chap mine mainly does it when I lay it down or it's in my pocket

Look inside the drip tip that came with the tank. There should be a small silicone 'tube' inside it. Push it out of the tip and insert it in the hole in the top cap so it fits into the silicone 'cup' on the top of the post then put your drip tip back in. That fixed the tiny bit of leakage/condensation buildup I was getting with mine. Some people have said they don't have the little 'tube' inside their drip tips but most do (all 3 of mine have had it in them).

Another tip with the vivi novas: un-twist the wicks. I use a pin to un-twist/separate the strands and it wicks WAY better. I never get dry hits and I don't have to tip the tank to keep them saturated. I can vape it right down to the last couple of drops with no problems. I usually use the 1.8 or 2.4 ohm heads on an eGo twist between 3.7-4.4 volts depending on the juice and am quite happy with their performance.
