We need to change how we are fighting this war! We are up against companies who can get the BBC to run a show condemning e-cigarettes, spouting lies to scare users into thinking e-cigs are bad for them. We are up against a company who fund and control the WHO and through this can release statements to the public warning of 'potential dangers' of using e-cigs. We are up against companies who have more clout and exposure than us. We need more exposure!
I have no ideas on how we can do this but we need to get behind Dr Farsalinos and get him more exposure to not only the vaping forums where only a fraction of users can see the truth, but to the daily e-cigarette users who only hear what the BBC and WHO tell them. We need Dr farsalinos in front of the cameras and in the news papers where people can see him and lets see if any self respecting doctor can oppose him. The people need to hear the truth!
Obviously it will take funding and management of some sort. I am willing to put some money in myself if someone would start an e-cig vendors society or something similar with the aim of using the money to bring the truth to the media and level the playing field that little bit more.
I fear that we aren't being heard enough! Anyone agree? Any ideas?
