Hi everyone!

I have created a new forum that is hidden from all but a special few... Why are you here? You showed an interest in writing some articles/guides!
We are looking to get a new section up and running shortly that features a number of articles aimed at both new and seasoned vapers alike.
Think of the current wiki but easier to navigate and not shit

So far we have the following top level topics:

What is vaping?

Cig-a-likes

E-liquid - probably have a main article and then sub-articles?

What are ecigarette mods?
Rebuildables - probably have a main article and then sub-articles? Possibly a collection of rebuildable atomisers here!

Variable Wattage / Variable Voltage
Mechanical Mods
Low OHM Vaping

I reckon a lot of these topics will have a main article and then sub articles associated with them.

eg.
Mods - Basic info about mods and what they are
- Provari - Short history of Provari, error messages, youtube review links
- eVic - As above
- ZMax - As above
etc..

Clearomisers - Basic info about clearos and what they are, how they work, etc..
- CE4 - picture, basic info (how to fill, how to use, ohms, etc...)
- eVod - as above
- Aspire - as above
etc..

Can I ask that if you have an article you want to write/think would be good here, you start a new thread in this forum so we can discuss each topic on different threads? Might become a bit confusing otherwise
Would love to get some more advanced guides in there with some technical stuff too!

Still not 100% on how we're going to arrange it all but once we've got some content it should be easy enough to play with. Suggestions welcome!

Now, some of these have been started by our very own @Purplefowler and she has (very) kindly offered to be the organiser of this new section ( I don't think she knows what she's let herself in for!).
So please talk to @Purplefowler, myself or @junglist if there's a topic you think should/shouldn't be in there and let us know if any of these float your boat! Basically we're looking to get a decent selection of useful info up and available to everyone. We're thinking about 400-500 words but if you're on a roll, don't feel you have to stop!

This section is basically for you guys to bounce ideas off each other and make sure that you're not writing the same things

You will, of course, be credited with the article!

If for any reason you are currently thinking "oh shit! what am I doing here?!" PM me and I'll get you removed from the group
If for any other reason you can see someone missing that should/would love to be a part of this, let me know via PM!!

Last thing to mention is that will shortly also be getting a news section up which will feature the latest news and info from the vaping world. If this is something you'd rather do or would like to get involved in as well, you guessed it.... PM me!!

This is a good starting point. The real bit I want to get into this stuff is personality. Whilst this is all really important stuff and we need to make sure that factually correct , we want people to enjoy reading it. It needs to fit with the Potv ethos of friendly, approachable and helpful. It needs to feel like the reader is getting some advise from a mate if that makes sense

that would be awesome. If you can start a new thread for each one to save on any confusion that would be great.
I did a load of stuff last week (load is slightly exaggerated!) but I'll stick them up after I finish work too. It's all open to ripping apart and chucking out so I won't be offended if anyone thinks it's shit. I'm not a writer but it can be a starting block if nothing else

Same here, mine were by no means the finished article. More just a starting point to edit etc. I will go and hunt those buggers down.

Just a random idea!

When these are ready to be released, would it be an idea to have a couple of photos (especially with the basic / starter items) as its all alien as a new vaper and may make it easier for them to decide what to go for and understand whats being discussed?
