Hi all

I bought some kit for mixing.
It arrived Saturday, loads of bottles, flavors, syringes. I made the place look like a drug den

Anyway, kit arrived, why wait, lets mix.

Using the POTV Online Calculator, using 15% flavor base. I mixed.

So, I made a straight forward one

15% Peanut Butter

2 mixed together
10% popcorn + 5% toffee

Some contraction, using 4 different flavors + sweetener I found online

Shaked well, let sit for 10 mins and tried.

Tested all of them out on different clean cartamizers (orders a drip tip after posting this)

All tasted foul, of sick.

OK, Put the lids back on, let them sit, washed out all cartamizers and let them drip dry for 24 hours.

Wohoo, 25 hours been, lets try again.

Nope, still taste like sick. (OK, a little better but not good)

I purchased a starter mix kit, including 72mg Nicotine, PG, VG, Distilled Water.
I have not used the distilled water with the VG (mixes dont look too thick)

Should I have??

Could it be poor quality base or even flavor ingredients?

Have I just missed something stupid?

Thanks in advance.

My flavors are Capella (http://www.leisureliquids.com/capella)

I know it says let them steep for 7-14 days (OK, I just noticed)

But I thought they would still taste OK straight away

All bottles are currently sitting in a cupboard at mine with the lids and drippers off (Dark cool room)

I have heard you can speed up the process of steeping by getting a bowl of near boil water and place the bottles in the bowl and wait for the water to go cold.

I have not tried this as wanted a second opinion.

OK, I thought steeping was more for when mixing multiple flavors.

Would I be right in saying most, decent, concentrate flavors need a week or 2 before ready?

I best go to the shop to get some more pre-mixed flavors to last me a couple of weeks.

Regards

Jamie

Not really true to be honest. Some you can vape straight away, capella for some reason gets better over time. I use mostly Capella (5 days min) Inawera (3 days min) and Flavour Arts (1 dayish) so it all depends and is something you kind of decide for yourself along the way. If you like it at 1 day then you like it, if not, give it a few more days and try again :)

Thanks, I am guessing there is no real way to speed the process up, so I am going to be patient (and order some more coils as cant get the taste out of one of my cartamizers).

attached is a picture of my current mix shelf (this is only after 2 weeks of vaping, come see me in 4 months for all of your supply needs)
