Took the dead rabbit apart to rewick for a different flavour and I was presented with this.

Thoughts or suggestions.

Looks like you over-stuffed the wick tails on the top ones.

M on mug number 3! But whilst i let the coil soak in nearly all the juice in the tank disappears, should i top it up as it drops or wait until it's time for the first hit to do it sir.

Personally I'd wait till it's nearly empty to avoid pushing more liquid into the wick and maybe causing a leak.

You want to avoid disturbing the vacuum as much as possible.
