Just rewicked the Drop with Kendo Gold and was vaping on it for a little while when noticed vape was slightly dry. Took cap off the Drop and noticed 2 white patches in the middle of the cotton. Top and bottom of the cotton are wet.

Am using a Gbox and squonking on a regular basis so why is cotton like this?

air pocket. your cotton not saturated as you'd like it... fibres tangled and they finding way around the area instead of through.
Re-wick and see if you make it right next time :)

I occasionally used that cotton, and get the same. All I do is juice it up, then gently tease the cotton with a cocktail stick or other clean pointed implement, to make sure all the cotton is wet. Once done it wicks a treat.

I gently pull it apart and then squeeze it back together. It's one of the best cottons you can get but it can be temperamental till it's properly soaked through.

kendo gold is a very good cotton once you get the hang of how to use it i found if i use a lot less of it in my builds than i do other cottons it works fine as it seems to expand more than other cottons it also needs to be primed too before you vape it i find leaving it to soak up the juice for a few mins before you vape just like a stock coil really..

It is my favourite cotton for flavour. Seems to give a wetter vape if that makes sense
