What's the best Ohms for a new mech user.

I'm starting on my first mech mod ( Hellvape Trishul V2 Mech Mod) when my order comes in

I will be using a Molicel INR-21700-P42A Battery and the dead rabbit v2 (single coiled setup) or Kylin mini v2


What is the best coil to give the best SAFE results on the above setup. I really want to get the Ohms right so I dont blow my head off.

What wattage do you vape the dead rabbit at? Dunno if the Kylin has a fixed and suitably protruding 510 pin to use that safely.

The P42A is rated for 30A, so the coils need to be at least 0.14 ohms in total to be safe.

This is the pin on the Kylin mini v2. Protruding quite a bit so I assume it's safe
The dead rabbit v2 is running at 0.28 Ohms on a single coil.

I don't have the Kylin, certainly looks protruding enough and I assume it doesn't move when you push on it, so should be fine.

Remember, build your coils to suit the wattage you want to hit, there's no adjusting a mech, wouldn't want you to sear your lungs out.

And check your build on something regulated first before pushing that fire button on the mech

Yeh the 510 is solid.
I've been running different coil setups on my mods and when I can I switch to bypass mod to see how I get on with it. I know it's not mech bit it's as close as I can get on a regular mod.

A single battery mech would be a bit tepid with long ramp up with high density coils. Less is more on unregulated.

I would recommend you vape near the wattage level you usually vape at.

The dead rabbit v2 is running at 0.28 Ohms on a single coil.

.. which would give you a max of 62w on a mech.

It's fine amp draw wise on a P42A, but is that close to what you use it at?

0.15 - 0.22, although I find the 0.22 a tad weak, for flavour and the 0.15 a bit too warm, so somewhere in between, which is not always an easy target to hit.
