Is anyone using their Evic with a 18350 battery ?

I have a 18350 tube on its way and need to order a suitable battery. Unsure if I need a flat top/button top, protected or not, IMR ?? LI-ION ??.

Had a google around the net and am even more confused now than when I started. I wont be happy if I blow up my new Evic......

HELP...........................:please:

As you haven't had a reply I'll have a go. I am new to this myself so hopefully someone with more knowledge will come by and correct me if I am wrong but the way I understand it you should use non-protected batteries in electrical mods and protected batteries in mechanical mods. Something like these should be good.

Thanks MightyMouth. Think I've sussed it with some more googeling. going for an efest IMR flat top 18350..... If this isnt the right battery can someone please let me know before I order it when I get home from work this evening.

Mods that have Electronic circuitry in them have a protection built in, so you don't need protected batteries. Efest or AW brand IMR batteries should be fine and safe.
