Which top fill kit should I go for?

Hey all,

I hope you are well and having a nice weekend. I'm looking for a little advice and wondered if you could help. I am currently using a Coolfire Mini kit, and I need to upgrade as 1) the battery life has become terrible, it now lasts an hour at the most, and 2) the top of the tank no longer screws on (i.e. the part that you unscrew to refill it).

I've been down to my local vape shop (Vaporized), and was recommended the Voopoo Mojo. It seems to be a good fit, as it has a (slightly) higher battery capacity, isn't too huge, and what I really like is that you can refill it without unscrewing the top (so hopefully I won't ever have the same issue as I have now, and it looks more convenient).

I didn't really want to take just the suggestion of one sales assistant, and ideally would like a few options to choose from. I've had a look through google, but there are 10 million different sites, and I'm finding it hard to make a short list.

Essentially I am looking for something that isn't huge in size, with decent battery life, affordable coils, and I can refill without unscrewing anything. I'd like to spend less than £50 for the full kit, so it won't be anything too fancy. Do you have any suggestions?

In my current set up the coil is 0.8, and I run it between 23-27 watts. I don't need huge clouds.

Thanks in advice and have a nice rest of the weekend!

Dolly Parton's blouse.................best top fill I have ever seen.

I’d recommend this https://www.vapeclub.co.uk/vape-kits-with-integrated-batteries/innokin-itaste-kroma-kit.html

I’ve used this for 6 months, very good battery life, never leaked or let me down. You can probably get it a bit cheaper if you shop around

The mojo is a dtl (cloud chasers) kit. What vg/pg ratio is you favoured e-liquid?

Thanks for the tip! I'll have a look at that. To be honest, I'm not loyal to any one particular e-liquid, so the vg/pg ratio does vary. I use 6mg strength, which I believe is around 2/3rds vg. Thanks again! :)

Also, just to note, I don't mind somewhat of a cloud, I just don't want my living room to be super hazy when I'm using it :)

I was actually looking at the mojo over the weekend and it looks like a nice kit, the only thing with that is its an internal battery and once the battery fails then the mod is gone again. Im currently using the innokin oceanus mod, it came with an isub tank which I do use but you can always change the tank. The oceanus came with 2 x 20700 batteries so you would need an external charger

The battery lifes really bad id go for a dual mod and you can get kits in the 50 pound range. Vaporesso revenger x is a good 1

I've just got a Vaporesso Revenger x. So far it's been superb. Piece of cake to fill. Great flavour and taste. Good charge.

The smartphone style touch screen takes a bit of getting used to but otherwise I don't think you can wrong with this.

agree with above. the revenger is a great kit with the NRG tank or even better the new polar with cascade tank. the mod has a new chip that fires instantly. with these tanks they do need average 40-80watts so cloud but im puffing continuously and it dispurses really quickly. or just buy the mod and get a tank that will take lower wattage. they are both 220w mods but the powers there if you wanted it. vaping at lower wattage will give much better battery life of course so no need to charge every 1-2 days.

@MrDJ how you finding the coil life with the NRG tank? I’m getting a week out of mine and then it needs replacing. Which given I’m on 50w has surprised me a bit.

Mind you I’ve been banging 79vg which I know clags the coil
