Ah yes it it the good old Aleader Mech squonker, and Yuk i hear you say it was forever leaking from the 510 pin due to the oversised bottle and silicone tubing, not to mention forever having to clean the conatact on the positive post of the 510 pin.

And we wont go into the auto fire the will happen if you happen to bridge the firebutton or the srcuring pin for the contact to your RDA.

Well it does have its flaws but the box itself is fairly nice, asthetically i quite like the lava style green resin, and it does actully fell very nice in the hand and when working properly the fire button does have a nice frim throw to it.

So i decided i would do something about it
so far i have completed stage one of this unloved little squonkers transformation

So phase one replace the leaky barely usable 510 pin for a better version
adjust the current connection strip so it works and fires.
And yes that is the same 510 connection as used by SVF Mods on thier gorgeous squonkers.

Phase 2 will begin tomorrow when i have more time and that is to replace the connection strip with 0.7mm copper strip and address the auto fire issue at the same time by isolating the connection pin from direct contact with the strip and insulat the rear of the firing switch to do the same, reducing the risk of it becoming a timebomb in my pocket.

Well new copper contact made new verses old I'd say the new contact although thinner actually delivers more of the battery power. I have even wrapped the contact with good old electrical insulation tape to isolate the securing nut and fire button from the contact.

If i can find a better way of drilling out a 12mm hole in copper sheet i may even replace the top contact in the near future reducing the power sag even more.
