Why have more than one mod?

Various mods that do various jobs... One or two day to day beaters, a single cell stealthy vape, mech and rda combo`s for evening in the home, squonks and parallel mechs for certain occasions, Bo pod system for ultra stealth vaping in John Lewis changing rooms, some for longer battery life etc etc.. Some mods you keep for prosperity to map out your vaping journey and would be worth jack shit if you sold them such as a 134 and a VTR.
The longer you vape the larger your collection grows. I always have at least 6-7 set ups ready to go for whatever I happen to be doing..
You dont need more than 3 to be safe but we all know the feeling if a mod comes up at the right price at the right time you will buy it.....

I am not a big buyer of kit but even I have 6 mech mods that I expect to be using for the rest of my life (or till 18650 batteries are no longer a thing) and 3 mistakes.
My hybrid mech I do most of my vaping on, the spare and the spare for the spare.
My 510 mech for the old attys I have that can not safely be used on a hybrid, and the two spares for that.
I have my first two mechs that turned out to be a flawed design, and one more that I thought might be better than what I had but was not.

Had I been omnipotent And not had to learn as I went then three would probably have been enough.

You really should have more than one.

I have my single 18650 for my 6mg nic mtl and a dual 18650 for my 3mg sub ohm rta's , different flavours and it's nice to switch it up, those are daily drivers, as others have said i have a few spare mods in the house incase one packs in

i have 3 at the minute, Kangertech Mini, Cool Fire IV, Smoant Battlestar, i use them all for different things, i like certain tanks on certain mods i like my RDA's on certain mods,
really though I reckon because at first vaping is a way to get off the stinkies but if it becomes a hobby, like any hobby you want all the gear and you're always buying new stuff, If fishing is your hobby you dont have just 1 rod, if golf is your hobby you dont just have 1 set of clubs,

and like them kids say its Vape Nation duuuuuude

I hate clutter so keep it quite minimal my must be tidy must be clean thing means I tend to throw out one thing before I buy another thing. So I am only at the 3 mods mark.... Given away or binned any excess or broken ones... And there all pretty much the same so they match and don't look cluttered.

One mod. How scary is that? I always think that when new vapers come on here and clearly only have one set up. Makes me nervous as hell.
