Why have more than one mod?

As for mods, I have a big one for the house, a wee one for our and about, and a medium sized one that serves as a spare for the other two. Or if it the big lad runs it if batteries and I don't have any charged.

I learned the lesson of only having one mod when my pico decided to play up for a couple of days.

I've never understood the interest in collecting mods. Tanks, I understand, but mods just supply the power.

When I first started I didn't worry about it. Then I got a spare to avoid needless messing about and extend battery life if I needed it. Then I realised dripping was not all it was cracked up to be and started looking at squonkers. I think 3 or 4 for various styles and situations makes sense.
