Am I forbidden to correct a logical error in his post because, as you point out, his nonesensical statement was grammatically correct nonense? I don't see how anyone can name a law (or anything else) after some other law which, as yet lacks a name? Do you? Therefore I figure he meant pretty much the opposite of what he said.

The law should be called Numpty 's Law, IMO, because Numpty was the one to propose the law. And if he happens to demonstrate what a Numpty he is, in the process, well that's really neat, IMO.

All joking aside, I really like the fact that it is extremely rare for anyone to correct someone's grammar or spelling on here. We're here to help people give up smoking, ultimately, and as long as we can make out what someone is saying, that's what really matters. No point in risking alienating people over some words and commas.
