How To Wicking vertical coils in the steam crave aromamizer

I've started doing diagonal claptons on mine with a bit less cotton length underneath the coil than what you have, just enough to touch the deck. I also drilled the juice holes out a little bit, nothing too crazy and it's been wicking amazing. Doesn't leak and flavour / vapour has been the best I've had on any atty. happy days!

Nice job, will have to get around to doing verticals in mine.
Only bothered with horizontal, flavour is outstanding so I've not tried anything else!

What gauge coils are you guys using on this? I'm pretty new to coil building and found 22awg to thick for me

I will be honest here-I bought two Aromamizers based on the hype, a black 3ML Velocity deck and a SS 6ML 3 post.

I was not impressed with them at all-until I tried wider, vertical coils with more power. (50-60W)

It was then like the tank came alive, no dry hits, flavour was up there, and I now really enjoy them both. I found the best way to wick is to just allow the bottom of the cotton to touch the base with the holes, just like in this video- so I can promise that this video is a great guide, and if you are not enjoying the Aromamizer, please try wider, vertical coils and wick as described-it turns it into a just OK tank into something rather great :).

Never tried it horizontally coiled for comparison.. Guess I won't bother now.. It was just OK with nife30.. The thing comes alive with a set of vertical claptons tho
