I've just seen this and thought it may be of interest to the RX 3x battery peeps...

Just received one of these in the post. No Wismec name anywhere on device or packaging or paperwork but seems solidly made. Will test it over the next week.

Interested to know what you think of this and what each Bay is able to charge at, cheers

So far as I can see, it's nowt to do with Wismec. Seem it advertised elsewhere as Joyetech :D

Avatar have their own web site with no mention of any other companies and brands. Wismec does have a page devoted to it so maybe some connection who knows.

One interesting thing is without being plugged in, the charger shows you the voltage of a cell when inserted!
All three bays can charge at up to 2A depending on the adapter.
Only charged a couple of single cells so far. All seemed good, voltage agreed with my multimeter and each time it seems to choose appropriate charging rate. No hot plastic smells and nothing hot to the touch.
Proper test will be three cells, soon do that. One charge rate setting for all bays though so that's a limitation.

EDITED: ok, so I wrote earlier that I thought maybe there was a fault but what happens is the display turns off and I mistook that for it finishing. Not seen this on a charger before to completely turn off the display while charging and nothing in the manual. It definitely is charging but nothing shows on display unless I tap the control button at the rear and then it all shows and it's charging at the same rate as my VP2 so it is working just need to see if the display comes on when cells fully charge.
Don't like it turning the display off. I like to monitor the charging progress.
No heat coming off the charger at all.

@mannikon does it comes with AC plug or you need your own high amp USB adapter for it?
You need to get your own, didn't come with anything.

Slight update, now that I realise the display turns off yet still charges, it charges well but like my old Nitecore shuts off before 4.2 but not less than 4.18.
Charges cells evenly and incredibly cool, get no heat at all when charging at 0.5 and I would expect a tiny amount of heat but nothing which is also why I thought it had stopped working.

Thanks for the quick reply, it's damn annoying that you always have to source a separate good quality 2amp usb charger with may chargers...

True, not that they don't exist, just that there are so many cheap and dodgy one out there!

The Xtar VP2/VP4 chargers don't need them.
