Going to try a communal review if that's OK.

This mod is pretty big news this month. I've seen a lot of fans and praise but I've also seen a lot of complaints about faults. Some are obviously genuine faults while others may be user error on a (necessarily) complicated device.

It should be a game-changingly* awesome mod for the price but is the quality control really as bad as the amount of complaints I have seen suggests.. and is that worrying on a high-power serial mod?

Let's get the Apes view. After a while I'll summarise the results.

P.S. Left the poll open to change votes because obviously these things change over time.

* Yes, I just made that word up.

Edit: conclusion is that faults are rare and easily rectified if you keep the receipt. Get one!

voted maybe as if you get a good un the price is awesome value for money imo

get a bad un and its not the end of the world

as long as you can afford to drop 45quid then take the risk,i cant so i wont lol

I love it. Not had much use yet (having a bit of a mech revival!). I don't build lower than 0.3 ohms (with oldschool kanthal), for me it was the battery life that was the big selling point.

What I've been really surprised by is that considering it's a 3x18650 mod it isn't that heavy and is extremely comfortable in the hand.

As I say I've not really put it through it's paces yet but for under £30 I'm chuffed with it. [emoji106][emoji108][emoji2]

It's a yes for me, I'm using one right now. Some people seem to be having troubles with it though, but so far nothing's wrong with mine. I'd say, for the price point it's worth it if you make sure you're vendor will replace it if it turns out you get one of the naughty ones.

does what it says on the tin and at a great price.

I've had no real issues with mine, good quality build and it performs well, not to mention the price. You really can't beat it :)

What is the actual weight of it with 3 batteries installed?

Stuff's always relative but I love the iPV D2's weight of 187gms.
I consider the Tesla Nano to be heavy, that's a solid chunk at 261gms.

I think it weighs about the same as one of those VT200 boxes. 210g ish, maybe?
