Entirely up to you, if you are using an Evod type battery then just be aware it will be top heavy with the Protank 2 or anything of that size on it. The advantage though imho is it hold more liquid, and is less troublesome than the standard Evod misers.

i think u shud go for both.. evods are time tested and good for everyday use... doesnt mean that protanks aren't... but i use the pts more for the special juices..
