I have established my collection of boxmods (sigelei 150w, snowwolf 200w, smy 260w, ipv3 li 165, istick 50w) and I went to a local vape shop and saw a copper mechanical tube mod and just fell in love and now I just need to have one. I can spend about $200-250USD and figured I'd ask you guys what I should take a look at before making a purchase. I'd prefer it to be a copper tube and extremely durable, something I could pass down to my kid one day. Appreciate the read.

Copper isn't particularly durable unless you treat it with kid gloves. I don't know much about authentic mechs but the Stingray X has a Stainless Steel outer layer and copper inside so is both durable and conducts well. I take it you have a good understanding of ohms law?

Back in the day, most 510 connectors where made of brass ... typical life expectancy of a brass 510 connector, a couple of months for me

Copper is even softer than brass.

Yep

Yeah I fully understand ohms law. I decided to go with an Arthas Mech Mod and am extremely happy with it. Thanks for the replies.
