Hello

Just bought used Yihi mini g series. Im not quite sure is it some kind of problem or it has to be like that. When i fire battery level is changing. Good example is in this video:

Ive tried cleaning battery pins but still no changes. Any help here ? Thanks

hi and welcome to the planet.

mine does that as well especially on part drained batteries. it doesnt do it on fully charged batteries. im using 30Q

It's perfectly normal on yihi boards - the battery level is a live reading and what you are seeing is the battery sagging whilst under load.

Maybe anyone knows good mod repair shop ? My yihi stopped firing, looking for someone who can have a look and fix it. Thanks

Explain the situation in which it stopped working bud. The answer may be a simple one.

So what I did was remove the wicks, cleaned out the tank and device... and then I dry burn my coils at 55watts at 0.16ohms. I hold down the fire button for around 5-7 seconds for a few times until the coils are lit up brightly, and then I run the coils under water. I do this a few times until the coils look pretty clean and aren't black anymore. Everthing was ok for lets say half an hour.
Later my mod just died. Ive tried switching it on but all i was getting just red message Yihi mini G series and my firmware version. Decided not use it just in case if there was some water inside. After couple days ive tried to switch it on and everything was ok all buttons working and no more red message after switching it on. But as soon as i put my tank back on it, it freezes and you cant use it at all. Been pressing all buttons but it doesnt react to any of them.

I know some folk do it, but why would you put your mod near water?

First off I'd recommend using a bowl of water when quenching coils (many prefer just.to dry burn and brush with a steel brush).
Water in a mod is a death sentence. Obviously you should never be firing the mod when the coil hits the water also (just.for any new vapers).
