On the Friday just gone I wrote a grumpy diatribe against the service side of ZampleBox. To summarise, I ordered the Gold ZampleBox on 2nd October and it took a fair old while to be shipped. Now, once it was shipped the Gold subscription arrived with me reasonably quickly. ZampleBox have been in touch with me since then to confirm that this will not happen again to any ZB customers, they unwittingly ran out of 12mg nicotine strength bottles and now have this covered. With a company expanding as rapidly as ZampleBox, time will tell.

The box itself was very slightly bruised and bashed, but on opening it I was very impressed by the glorious fruity, bakery aromas emanating from it and the frankly brilliantly attractive way the packaging was put together.

On opening the box, I was met with more ZampleBox green tissue, then green bubblewrap, then inside the bubblewrap were two neat little bow-tied, green net sacks containing the e-liquid bottles themselves. The bottles arrived without a blemish, all safe – not one broken. It felt like a vaper’s Christmas dream.

This is the moment that you realise what a good deal this could be. Again, I’ll summarise: 180ml of e-liquid in eleven different bottles from different gourmet juice makers. All for around £38.00 delivered to your door from the USA, monthly.

So, here we get to the nitty-gritty. Are the e-liquids the high quality that ZampleBox claim? Does their extensive quality testing really work? Could this be a vaper’s Christmas dream on a monthly basis, or a ride to hell and beyond?

Here’s The Grumpy Vaper review and breakdown of the first five ZampleBox e-l
iquids I have tried so far:

More after the JUMP!

Well, if anything, you certainly have the longest link description I've ever seen.

I started to read, your snippet here looked interesting....however, I skipped down a bit and noticed the links to zamplebox were referal links and stopped reading any more. Shouldn't reviews be impartial? If you're benefiting from a referal scheme then the review is unlikely to be totally impartial?

That would be a fair enough criticism, however, if you'd read Part 1 of the review you'd probably know this isn't the case. Part 3 of the ZampleBox review will demonstrate this further as, to be frank they just don't reach the same kind of quality.

I am going to take that criticism on board though, I think there's merit in what you say, so I'll edit that to a standard link. At the moment I'm not making any money from TGV, although it is a commercial venture and ultimately relies on support from the industry. I pay for my Gold sub out of my own money, this is not paid for advertorial, these are my genuine opinions.

Up to date, from that referral I've made a whopping $1.50 and that wasn't from my website, it was from Facebook from a mate! A few $1.50s aren't going to make me a millionaire though, so I will alter the link now as it means very little to me.

Fair enough, thanks for the reasoned response, you make valid points and I will check out part 1, but to be fair, given what you've said here I'd leave the link as is :)

No, I'll leave it now. The main reason being that I want to give the industry a voice of integrity and honesty and you were right.

TGV is not about promoting PR bobbins and guff. I'm not in this to be schmoozed by the ever increasing corporate side, I'm in it to cut through the the bullshit and give honest views on products. There are many out there who get paid to review products, but I'm not one of them and will never be.

It'll take time for the site to grow and TGV was one month old yesterday, so I'm absolutely open to any criticism and feedback from the community as the site evolves.

Many thanks for your comments.
