hi. I have the Cerberus tank at the moment but thinking about picking up the Zeus x tank today. I’m thinking it’s got to be better value than keep replacing the coils in the Cerberus. And better flavour? I’m only getting a week out of the coils at the moment.☹️

Ive only used 2 tanks. The zlide which is the most recommended stock coil tank on here for mtl and the beserker mini rta.
I much prefer the beserker mini over the zlide plus I got enough wire and cotton to last a couple of years for the price of a pack of coils.
Someone should be able to advise a good 1st rta to replace the cerberus.

I’m looking at the Geekvape Zeus x. It comes out best in reviews I have seen.

Bought the Zeus x. Just set it up, anyone know the best wattage to use with the coils that came supplied?

Hi mate, recently got a hold of one myself. One thing I noticed is you can run the coils with nice flavour and a bit cooler quite happily below the recommend range. The Z2 in mine right now I have on 55 watts. Just start after you break one in at 10 watt below the recommended range and go up a couple of watts at a time till you like how it tastes. Just give it a good tank full during break in then try that before you make up your mind. Don't smash them either by chain vaping or you may find they dont last long. My short experience with them is they are not suited for doing that.
But yes, a better tank than the Cerberus.

Yeah the first set up must of been not quite right as I had a lot of spitting! Second time around is better so far, only have it at 35 watts so far. Not sure how far I can push it.

Sorry mate, maybe have got my wires crossed. Are you talking about the Zeus Sub Ohm with pre made mesh Z coils or the Zeus RTA? My reason for thinking the sub ohm is that there is a package with the new X Aegis mod and Zeus Sub Ohm tank. Abreviated I've seen it as the Zeus X package. My comments are on the Zeus SubOhm with Z coils.
If it is the tank I have then 35 watts will be too low. The Z1 for me vapes best between 50 to 65 watts, its recomended up to 70. The Z2 60 to 75 for me but recommended up to 80. 35, if that is the tank will be a weak not right vape.

Yeah my bad. It’s an rta. My thinking was it would be better cost wise as I was only getting a week at most with the Cerberus coils. As I understand it can take a while to get your wicking correct with a new rta, so it might just be trial and error.

No worries. My mistake after seeing an X mod here in Oz with the Zeus I have, mistakenly thought you'd got that set up. Sorry mate I dont know anything about that one, the RTA. Here's hoping you get it all sorted out.
