“Elevator” MODS

Glad someone said this!

Just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should.
There’s nearly always a reason someone else hasn’t done it, before. However original the idea may be.

so as a proof of concept, promising.
Just the first prototype is a tad, err, underdeveloped.

It's just a sample. No production

What is produced is different.
At $30, I have no complaints.

im sorry the price is not the leading factor

if it is a sample then you need to test the elevator section itself on a standard iso switch the test rate is about 10,000 clicks so the elevator section that lifts the 510 out needs testing many many times the problem you face is the cabling will degrade the weak spots are the solder joints if they break and hard short the mod will become a bomb.

but why is there a 510 on the side of the mod is there a reason for this I also notice this is a 6mm or 8mm positive-end low-cost 510 with a 20 gauge hole for the positive cable which is on the thin side for a mod at best

I seen another mod with the side 510 it's a building mod aswell as a regular mod fir after building which seems a good idea but abit daft aswell but I can see the idea for it

Here is the one built by JHFWI sculptures on fb

decent board though and a proper 510

making a mod is easy making a good mod is hard

If we play together in a small circle, we will certainly not be able to match the commercial design of large factories.

this is true but trying to beat the large factories on price and innovation means you need to have a product that is ready and tested for market
