It might just be a little flooded after filling, just give it a flick out and see how it is then.

just hold the mod (tight) and just flick it (like you are flicking paint on a bush or whatever) onto some kitchen roll.

I hear you, but you have to fill it to use it right... so if you don't flick it out, those little dribbles might always be hanging around.

Just try it any way, if nothing comes out, then it's not that.

other things.... it could just be a lot more saturated and better vape than you are used to, have you tried turning it down a couple of watts and seeing how it is then? ... or opening the airflow a little, maybe the vapour to air ratio is a little out... ie too much vapour, not enough air. That can make it taste a bit wet to me.
