There's nothing wrong with being a cynic per se.. works for me, but if you think that current prices for eliquids are a rip off, just wait til 2016 when the MHRA get their mucky mawks on regulation for the industry.
That's if the the pharma sponsored WHO doesn't scaremonger a tobacco tax on liquid into place before then.
Anyone could set up as a juice vendor, hell even a dozy mare like me could do it if I was so inclined. Just because I could however, would be no guarantee that I'd be competent to do so.
A lot of juice vendors have put time, effort and capital into ensuring that they DO provide a competent service and sell liquids that have ingredients that are generally regarded as safer, as well as investing in batch testing of their products. This kind of competency doesn't come cheap and so sometimes, you get what you pay for when it comes to quality.
If you want to buy cheaper liquids the it's entirely your perogative to do that, but please don't try to insinuate that every juice vendor that charges more than 10p per ml is somehow trying to rip folk off, because by the same token, folk who are happy to pay a bit more for what they perceive to be a quality product/service are free to choose just like you are.

Government can suck it as far as i'm concerned, won't be getting a penny out of me.
