18500 Firebox Squonker

It is metal, But it sure looks like plastic. The vendor or manufacture need to address that in their product specs.

The housing material is zinc alloy.

According to this page - which I think belongs to the manufacturer - the case is a zinc alloy:

S-body Patent variable voltage mod S-CA1 with IMR 18500 Battery

I've been looking for pictures of the display activated, but I'm drawing a blank. Could someone oblige? @Toby? @Bobw1951?

edit: oops, hadn't noticed Toby had previously stated the zinc alloy. Would still like to see the display activated.

Notice you are in Sydenham, not the chap with the mustard tin mod ?? if you are then you've seen mine at the last Vape Meet but anyway here is a pic, not too good though, it shows the power, resistance & battery % remaining:
EDIT: Just noticed it's exactly the same display as the Sigelei TMAX if you have ever seen that, the difference is that the TMAX has a hard plastic over the display whereas this has a soft plastic, so you have to be careful not to put too much pressure on it.

edit: as featured here. I remember seeing your Firebox at the meet, which is largely why I was interested in it, but I couldn't reliably recall how the display looked.

Thought it was you, I've been away in Latvia for a week, and when I got back my Data HDD died so spent the last couple of days rebuilding a new one, luckily I had backups, but it took a while, that's what delayed me in putting up a picture, you going to the next meet on 21/06?
