Hi Guys I Know I've asked loads before about Mech Mods but I think theres one thing I failed to ask.

If I use a flat top 35amp Purple Efest Protected battery, if the battery becomes low will it cut out or will it allow itself to become fully drained to empty?

Thought id ask and be safe than risk hurting myself or someone lol

I know with 35amp I can go down to 0.01 ohm I won't be going lower than 1 ohm

Cheers
Ash

Asthe battery discharges, you'll notice a change in the vapour taste/production which will be how you tell when the battery is due changing. If you think that you might not realise early enough, buy an inline voltmeter and use it for a while and when you see the remaining voltage offload(not vaping)is about 3.2 volts(is where my RDA's lose their flavour, though I'm running 0.3 ohms)change the battery. You'll quickly recognise where your battery needs changing with a little familiarity.

Thank you Chegs :)

That helps but also on the safe side is there a battery which auto cuts out or am I thinking of a kick?

You're thinking of a kick

In theory, protected cells are supposed to cut out on low voltage. In practice almost all of them don't. I reckon that they will (in devices with drivers) on current when the voltage is too low but on a mech mod you cannot rely on this happening. But the vape will be rubbish long before then, so there shouldn't be a problem.

Thank you B1mble I think id rather go for a kick simply because id rather have something stopping me use it rather than me rely on myself

A kick will limit you to 15w as long as you're happy with that

Yeah im quite happy with that I don't go over 11 atm.

Say if during the day I had about an hour of vape time at College would the battery last? I was wondering how long itd last at 1-1.2ohm with a moderate vape. Not going like a monster

A kick (evolv) should last about the same battery wise as an equivalent vv/vw mod
