just completed my first collection of juices 3 days ago..flavouring was between 16-19%,but after reading a few threads i added about 25% volume of unflavoured vg nic, thereby presumably cutting flavour to 12%-14%.

I'm a bit concerned that i've f&*ked up ,cos the custards are very bland, although the strawberry /raspberry mixes are ok.
Am i just being impatient ?
does custard just take longer to come through ?
Its an all vg mix, apart from flavours(capella)
I had no intention of actually vaping them..just couldnt resist a tester

It takes a while longer that 3 days for a cstard mix to develop, but I'd say your also a bit low with high a VG mix you need more flavouring, pg good for flavour pg good for vapour

I mix capella vanilla custards at no higher than 15% and they're lush after just 3 days steep, though they're also 50/50 @ 13mg nicotine.

thanks for the advice..
i'm really tempted to go back in with more flavouring..but tbh
it would just negate the whole project ..which is really to get some nice juices that me and my mate can vape freely without getting wheezy..
if i start adding stuff now i wont be able to work out the mix in order to recreate or improve..
wasnt really expecting to reach full flavour before a week at the earliest..so i'll just try and leave them alone.

i'll be back soon with some inane questions

I leave my custards for three weeks minimum......the longer the better IMO......:)

Custards take time to mature, so while your waiting for them, mixing some flavours you can vape now, ie fruit flavours like coconut, strawberry ect.

If you're after a 'quick fix' vape then fruit flavours seem to mature the quickest. My standby vape is a really cheap cherry menthol mix which is good to go as soon as it's made.
